Approximately 27mm x 42, black cotton-rayon cuff band, upon which has been machine woven, in yellow-gold Gothic script, "HJ - Streifendienst. "BeVo" - like embroidery on a heavier material with gauze reinforcement on the reverse. The "HJ - Streifendienst" (Hitler Youth - Patrol-service) was established in March of 1934, primarily as a special unit to assist in policing rallies. Its members were distinguishable from the general HJ only by a cuff-title worn on the lower left sleeve of their uniforms. Functioning somewhat like an auxiliary police force. The HJ-Streifendienst members were to ensure that all HJ activities, approved functions and meetings were organized and ran according to stated policies. Variation. Does not react to UV light. VG+ condition.
