This short (5" long) cuff title, "H.J.=Gelandessportwart" (HJ Field Exercise Warden) is machine woven in golden yellow on a black rayon band. I interpret this function as a track and field instructor or referee and was worn on the lower left sleeve by qualified individuals. There are several different positional insignia of this design and the are documented in  "The HJ, Volume 1" by John R. Angolia, pages 259 and 260. Does not react to UV light. Unissued, unfinished, cut from a roll. Maybe Reproduction. VG+ condition.
