This short (5" long) cuff title, "H.J.= Sportwart" (HJ Exercise Warden) is machine woven in red on a black band, was worn on the lower left sleeve by qualified individuals. A "Sportwart" is  a track and physical training instructor or referee and  There are several different positional insignia of this design and the are documented in  "The HJ, Volume 1" by John R. Angolia, pages 259 and 260. Does not react to UV light. Unissued, unfinished, cut from a roll. Maybe Reproduction. VG+ condition.
