WW2 German Schützenvereine (Rifle Club) Officers Feldbinde und Feldbindenschloß für Offizier (brocade belt and aluminum buckle). The belt is fabricated with a fine aluminum wire interlaced with white threading on the upper, incorporating two rows of forest green embroidery, the edges and reverse in green wool, two sliders with matching uppers and reverses to that of the belt, the right end finishing in a point with a hook that faces a single row of nine holes for length adjustment, die-stamped silvered aluminum buckle affixed to the right end, the buckle illustrating a Schützenvereine emblem, center. The tag is hard to read and appears to have a stock number and sellers name on it. Someone later wrote a price in DM on it using a ball point pen. This item was acquired by one of our staff at a flea market near Munich in the 70's. Shows wear from use, and a nice patina. VG.
