This is decidedly NOT yet another typical Bavarian march collection that presents (for the umpteenth time!) such standard fare as the Bayerische Defiliermarsch or the Mussinan Marsch; rather, it is a treasure trove of newly discovered- and never before recorded, historic pieces. Of particular interest are several unknown gems by such composers as Georg Fürst, Carl Carl and Julius Schreck, as well as many others who are completely forgotten today.
