Featured conductors include Oberstleutnant GMD Horst Hoffmanbeck, Major Wolfgang Leder and Hauptmann Siegfried Witzmann. Veteran march-music enthusiasts will note that many of the new East German ¿air force¿ marches presented here are in keeping with the spirit and structure of the German ¿Fliegermärsche¿ of the 1930¿s, despite the DDR¿s avowed policy of disassociating itself from previous German military traditions.
